The Study of Using Electroencephalogram to Explore the Relationship of Perception and Photo Filter Effects

▌Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore brainwave attention and relaxed level toward the relationship of different color photos and contents. Using the filter feature of Instagram to design seventy-eight experimental photos, include thirteen colors. The subjects viewed all of the photos and use brainwave equipment as a measurement tool simultaneously. The research results hope to give a reference for software developers of photo, and also offer the color scheme to enhance learner’s motivation and attention in field of educational technology and digital learning. According to the research results, the findings were as follows:

  1. The warm color photo improves brainwave attention, and the cold color photo improves brainwave relaxation.
  2. Between the favor of color photo and brainwave attention has proportional relationship.
  3. The photo’s content of character and food has significant differences with the favor of color photo.
