▌Abstract

This research mainly explores the teaching effectiveness of integrating multimedia interactive teaching materials into junior high school resource classes for students with dyslexia. The participants of this study were 10 second-year students in a junior high school in New Taipei City. The multimedia interactive teaching materials with the theme of English teaching were designed and developed based on the ADDIE model. Researchers designed the multimedia interactive teaching materials based on the lives of students with dyslexia, including travel, animals, sports, restaurants, etc., and used this teaching material to learn about the changes in the English ability of students with dyslexia in the resource class.
The results of the study found that students with reading difficulties in the middle school resource class have improved their English proficiency after using the multimedia interactive teaching materials. Teaching with this teaching materials can arouse students’ interest and attention, and then achieve the teaching goals. This research hopes that the materials will become an aid tool for teachers of junior middle school resource classes in the future.
