▌Abstract
This study explored the effect of mobile learning applying to learning fraction for a group of 4th graders (n=19) among three attributes, including fraction definition, computing and application. By means of tablet and application (app), this study revealed the instruction could enhance students learning outcomes.
According to the pre-test and post-test, the analysis revealed the difference is significant among these three attributes. Besides, it showed that the gender factor played an important role when using mobile learning technologies in this study.
This study revealed that a well-designed combination between curriculum and mobile technology and application can elevate students understanding and concept learning in learning fraction. Moreover, mobile learning can offer more instructional assistance in teaching, including peer collaboration learning, assessment and meta-learning.
