Abstract
This study aimed to examine the relationships among AI application literacy, AI self-efficacy, and AI application intention among corporate employees after participating in synchronous online practical training on M365 Copilot, and to further investigate the mediating effect of AI self-efficacy on the relationship between AI application literacy and AI application intention. A questionnaire survey method was adopted, targeting employees of a domestic information and communications service company who had participated in the training program. A total of 125 valid responses were collected. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and PROCESS Macro v5. The results showed that AI application literacy had a significant positive effect on both AI self-efficacy and AI application intention, while AI self-efficacy also had a significant positive effect on AI application intention. In addition, AI self-efficacy was found to have a significant partial mediating effect on the relationship between AI application literacy and AI application intention. Overall, in the context of corporate M365 Copilot training, employees’ competence in using AI tools and their confidence in using them were both important factors influencing their post-training application intention. The findings of this study may serve as a useful reference for enterprises in planning generative AI training programs and evaluating training effectiveness.
