Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore how to positively cope with and adapt to the challenges of parenting. This case describes the treatment of a five-year-old boy with autism and delayed language development. He was found to have language delay at the age of two (in 2021) and was subsequently diagnosed with autism. Since the diagnosis, he has been receiving continuous rehabilitation, including occupational therapy and speech therapy. With a combination of occupational therapy activities, speech therapy, and structured teaching, after two years of intervention, his disability certification was changed from moderate to mild. This report presents and discusses the treatment process and outcomes.
