Abstract
In the era of rapid development of technology, English has become an international language and is used as a tool for information dissemination and idea exchanges in the world, which promotes more and more frequent international communication. Discuss how Taiwan, as an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) country, can use technology to assist learning to enable students to communicate effectively in English? This study uses voice recognition software to assist students in oral English learning, and observes how the vocabulary recognition function of voice recognition software can be effectively applied to English oral learning for Taiwanese English learners to improve students’ self-directed learning skill.
