Abstract

The aim of this study is to use mobile learning or traditional teaching activities to investigate the impact on Internet literacy, Internet self-efficacy, and peer relationships for fifth graders. This study adapts the experimental research on 81 fifth graders from Taipei City with comprise of two experimental groups and one control group. The experimental groups used mobile learning or traditional teaching activities respectively, while there is no experimental treatment on the control group. Both experimental groups and control group take the Internet literacy, Internet self-efficacy, and peer relationships scales as pre-tests and post-tests. The quantitative data will be analyzed by Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation ANCOVA in SPSS.
According to the results of the study, the effectiveness of mobile learning can be provided. Furthermore, the study also provides recommendations for educators to design instructional materials and activities in the future.
