Abstract

The study aimed to design and develop an escape room game teaching material suitable for Seventh -grade students, and provide teachers to teach scouting courses. Through literature review and interviews with three scouting teachers, the paper attempted to understand the current situation of teaching scouting courses and actual demand of teachers, and designed and developed escape room game teaching material. This study used the ADD steps of ADDIE model to develop a teaching plan. After the teaching materials are developed, three teachers are invited to give materials opinions for reaching the teaching goals and the follow-up development of escape room games based on the interview results. The results can be used as a reference for future study.
