Abstract

With the rapid development of generative artificial intelligence, this tool has become one of the trends for the future. As a result, more and more people are using this tool in various fields, including CS education. This study explores the feasibility and effectiveness of using generative AI to help teachers generate Parsons problems and adopts a Design-Based Research approach to achieve the expected results through continuous dialogue with the generative AI. The goal is to enable teachers to create high-quality teaching or learning materials based on the content they are teaching, and to focus on teaching itself, thereby improving teaching efficiency and quality.
