Abstract
This study applied an animation dubbing project to English classes in high school for the purpose of investigating the effect of this project on English learning and learning attitude. It required students to edit video clips, create a play and record lines of the characters. The data came from feedback sheets done by students after the project, teacher’s observation in class and students’ works. The result of this learning activity shows that this dubbing project assists students in gaining deeper understanding of the content presented in the chapter, including vocabulary, sentence patterns and reading text; besides, this learning activity is found to foster student’s imagination and creativity, increase self-efficacy and develop a good rapport among peers.
