Abstract
Basketball free throw training is an important issue in modern basketball game. The ideal free throw entrance angle is 42-48 degree. This study tried to explore the relationship between individuals’ height and the free throw entrance angle. The sample is a male whose height is 170cm. In order to create different height, the sample stand on different height stacked wooden blocks (10cm and 20cm). The finding showed that the entrance angle of free throw might vary by height. By means of one-way ANOVA, this study revealed that the individual’s height played an important role in entrance angle.
