Abstract

This study explores the actions of teachers’ learning leadership in the teaching scene when promoting the innovative teaching mode. Focusing on Teachers’ learning leadership, this paper analyzes the actions of teachers’ learning leadership when promoting the teaching innovation measures with students’ learning as the main axis in case science and Technology University. Five teachers who are deeply involved in the innovative teaching are selected by intention sampling for in-depth interview, with the help of literature. The analysis with the results of in-depth interviews, explores what leadership beliefs and actions teachers use to exert their influence on students’ learning. The research results show that the participating teachers of the case have the characteristics of “learning leadership”, which can be promoted by the relevant innovative teaching courses to guide more teachers to participate. In the aspect of promoting the concept of learning leadership of the case, they have preliminary experience. Therefore, if we can guide the teaching mode to student-centered, students are willing to take the initiative to learn, and can acquire deep learning skills, we can improve the motivation of students’ active learning, and truly achieve “student-centered teaching”.
