Abstract

Massive Open Online Courses call MOOC or MOOCs. It is a large-scale interactive and open-type course offered through the Internet, providing registration options for those interested in taking courses. This article discusses the successful course model of MOOCs. The study is conducted for the 2019 online course in spring season on ewant: “Physics in Living”.
This article uses multiple regression and correlation analysis on Tableau for analysis. The results show that the number of videos viewed by the participants is the most important factor for the successful course mode, followed by the number of homework tests completed and the number of discussions and the successful completion mode of the finisher are the most significant with the frequency of participation in the discussion and the score obtained in the discussion area. In addition, compared with the unfinished students, the score of the completed class in the number of videos viewed, the number of participation in the discussion and the discussion area is still high and significant. In the future, in addition to shooting course videos, teachers of each class will still have to interact and discuss with students regularly in the discussion section to increase students’ interest in learning and effectiveness
